These terms govern your use of SecondRing. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
SecondRing is an AI receptionist that answers your business's unanswered overflow calls — your own line always rings first. It can take messages, transfer calls, book appointments on a connected calendar, and (when connected and enabled) help callers with invoices and quote prices from a list you control. The assistant identifies itself as an AI on every call.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for call-recording compliance in your jurisdiction. SecondRing discloses that it is an AI and that calls may be recorded; recording is off unless you enable it.
- Don't use the service for unlawful, harassing, or deceptive purposes.
- Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
Billing
Plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Each plan includes a monthly allotment of overflow minutes; usage past the allotment is billed at our published overage rate. Spam calls are never billed. You can cancel anytime; service continues to the end of the paid period. No setup fee.
Not professional advice
Invoice balances and prices the assistant states are drawn from your connected QuickBooks or the price list you configure. They are informational; the final say on any account or price rests with your business. SecondRing does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice.
Availability & liability
We work to keep the service reliable but provide it "as is," without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, SecondRing's liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior three months.
Termination
You may stop and delete your business at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
